Social identifer goodness.
What can I say, I want people to know where I am in this virtual world.
DandyID offers an easy way to display where you are in this virtual world on your website, myspace page, etc. Go to my blog, look on the left hand side in the sidebar underneath “I’m virtual.” Most all of that was created with a widget through DandyID. I added about 3 manually, which doesn’t look pretty but I wanted them there also.
So hurry to DandyID and get yourself hooked up to display your identities easily!

Some Christmas themes for WP
These themes would be for your personal site (www.mysite.com) rather than your wordpress.com site. Sorry I do not have thumbnails available, but you can click the links to go view the demos & downloads:
Christmas Days – one of the best
No demos here, but look at their other designs. I’m sure their Christmas ones are pretty, too. Savvy Web Designs
Have a holly, jolly, wordpress Christmas!

WordPress plugin: Twitter Tools
If you love twitter like I do, and you have a wordpress.org blog, then you will love this plugin – Twitter Tools by Alex King.
So many options are available with this tool – You can create a blog post with each tweet, a daily OR weekly digest of all your tweets with customizable title for each entry as well as setting the appropriate category and/or tag, put your tweets in your sidebar, and finally have it set to send a tweet each time you post a new entry in your blog.
What are you twitterers waiting for? You can download the plugin here.

WordPress Lifestream plugin.
I love the whole concept of Lifestreaming…shoot, I have profiles at friendfeed & lifestream.fm…and you even can lifestream on your facebook page.
I have found a wonderful plugin for your WordPress.org blog called Lifestream by David Cramer. This plugin has everything going for it – tons of social sites for you to link to (if one isn’t available you can add as many rss feeds as you would like), a sidebar widget, set up for a lifestream page, as well as automatic daily digesting!
See my Lifestream page here. If you notice you will see a Lifestream mini-view in my sidebar, and a digest entered for yesterday.
Download the plugin here. Plugin forum located here. Plugin home page here.

Goodies galore
I keep changing this blog but I think I’ve found something useful to do with it. I find many useful plugins, addons, design sites, etc., that give me inspiration as far as site design as well as usefulness for such things as my browser. I plan on sharing these things with you here.
First up: some great Firefox add-ons for Gmail.
Blank Canvas Gmail Signatures. Insert HTML signatures into your Gmail. You can create different signatures (default, business, personal) that can be switched for appropriate use. I love this plug in!
Better Gmail & Better Gmail2. The difference is “2″ is for the “new” gmail; Better Gmail is for the original interface. Change up the look of your Gmail, create sub-labels with a parent label…just lots of fun things. Read more on Lifehacker by the addon creator.
Gmail Manager. I will admit to having several different gmail accounts – a personal one, one that relates to my blog, and one for work. This plugin allows you to see at a glance in the bottom right hand corner notifications of new emails.
